What we collect when you use this site, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

DataSMC — Data Security, Management & Control (“dataSMC”, “we”) is responsible for the personal data described here. Our address is 10310 City Center Blvd, Apt 206, Pembroke Pines, FL 33025, United States.

You can reach us about anything on this page at datasmc@datasmc.com or +1 (754) 799-0032.

What we collect

When you use the contact form we receive what you type into it: your name, your company, your work email, your answers about your environment and anything you add in the message.

Like any website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.

If you email or call us instead, we receive what you send or tell us, and use it the same way.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Why we use it

We use what you send us to reply to you and to prepare for the conversation you asked for. That is the only thing we use it for, and we rely on your request to do so.

We keep technical logs because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site available and protected.

Who else sees it

Your message passes through the providers that run this site for us, acting on our instructions and under agreements that protect it: Vercel, which hosts the site; Resend, which delivers the form’s messages to our inbox; and, when the bot check is on, Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells people from bots. Some of them process data in the United States.

We do not sell your personal data, share it for advertising, or pass it to anyone else, unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep your message for as long as we need to answer it and follow up, and then delete it, unless we go on to work together. Technical logs are kept for a short period and then deleted automatically.

How we protect it

Everything between your browser and this site is encrypted. Access to what you send us is limited to the people who need it to reply.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop us using it. Write to datasmc@datasmc.com and we will answer within a month. If you are in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
